Celebrate the Spring Equinox and Navroze! 

Navroze or 'new day' falls on the first day of Spring and is celebrated as the start of the Parsi New Year.

Food is a big part of all celebrations. Niloufer Ichaporia-King's recipe book is just a fabulous collection of Persian-based recipes that are overlaid with influences from India, Europe and beyond. 

The little stencil boxes are filled with chalk or rice flour and used to stamp patterns as decoration on sidewalks, gateways and doorways.
