Glass nibs were used in fountain pens from the turn of the previous century and originally produced in Eastern countries. Their beauty and charm remain incomparable, even though they have been replaced in common use by steel nibs.
In Venice in recent decades, thanks to glass processing, the nib is created together with the cannula also in Murano glass, as one single piece. Truly a work of art!
