Kenyan artisans create beautiful vessels from dried calabash gourds, which grow abundantly in the Kenyan countryside.
Each cup is dyed a deep black, then etched with small dots to resemble the feathers of a guinea hen.
Two sizes, large and small: Large: is about 4” in diameter and 3” tall. Small is approximately 3” in diameter and 2” tall
The little Seedpod bird is pictured by one of the large sized calabash gourd bowls.
Lightweight and versatile, they work well as desktop storage, catchalls for small everyday objects, or decorative accent pieces. They make a striking display grouped together.
Hand crafted in Kenya.
