Carefully hand block printed using blocks carved by hand from sheesham wood.
Each color and motif is printed with a different block. This means that as many as 16 blocks could be used to create a 5-color design.
A set of blocks last on an average for 1,500 to 2,000 yards of fabric; after that, some need to be replaced.
These pieces hold up well to frequent washing. They are 100% cotton, so the edges will crush slightly when you remove them from the dryer. Machine wash cold, and tumble dry. Or line dry inside out to prevent fading from direct sun.
